Express Yourself! Art Program at MSU
Serving Clay, Lowndes, Noxubee, Oktibbeha Counties
About
The T.K. Martin Center's Express Yourself! Art Program empowers individuals with disabilities to express themselves through artistic works using adaptive technology and specialized techniques. Their services include an Individual Artists initiative where artists create paintings, drawings, or ceramics to sell, a weekly Wednesday Art Program for children ages 6 to 12, private art lessons across various mediums, and structured summer art camps. Using laser-guided tracking and neutral-arm assistants called trackers, the program allows participants with severe physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities to create detailed artwork at no cost for individual participation.
